Could you talk about suggestions about those like me who are with a church that is brand new. How to start the children's ministry on the "right foot"? I am with a BRAND new church that has been only going 7 months and I am the director of the children's ministry. Thanks for your suggestions.

I like the podcast.  And I started a wiki page for podcasts on cmconnect.net .   More people should join the cmconnect wiki to help compile a list of these kinds of podcasts.

James, I just found your podcast on iTunes about a week ago. They are awesome! I have listened to all of them. I have even listened to some of them multiple times! That doesn't make me weird does it? Thanks for the podcast and for letting us bask in the glow of your vast knowledge and wisdom. Keep it up.YOU DA MAN!

We've rebranded Children's Ministry Monthly... it's now "Help! I'm A Children's Pastor" and is now a half-hour bi-weekly podcast. Check it out... all over again! http://www.helpimachildrenspastor.com

P James - Thanks again for all you podcasts! They have been a great resource for me and I'm really excited to implement some new segments into my CM. Thank you for your faithfulness and williness to continue with these podcasts. I listen to your podcasts and it causes me to think bigger - to think outside the box - and I love it!

Just listened to "How We Do Service" yesterday on the drive home. Love that you use HVKM and I love the idea about splitting up the illustrated sermon points! I use HVKM and am using the "Life is a Highway" curriculum now.

Thanks for being real and sharing your insights and wisdom!

I totally agree with you, Rachel! It always blows me away that someone else out there is as passionate, or more, about Children's Ministry. I kind of get that look from my friend and co-workers like I am a little off the deep end. I just get such a kick out of sharing the excitement of the good news of Jesus Christ with kids! Thanks James! You make me seem normal! LOL!
