Recently we were awakened to the 4/14 Global Summit and the man, Luis Bush, who coined the phrase,"10/40 Window". He on his website has said some fascinating things that I believe will be of great interest to others in Children's Ministry. The 4/14 window is a move to reach children ages 4 years through 14 years worldwide. It is amazing Luis Bush's perspective. His position is that he sees that the church needs to focus on children! YES,I can hear all of us who have worked with kids for years shouting, "YES! You tell 'em!"

His letter states that his ministry is, 'Raising up a New Generation from the 4/14 Window to Transform the World" (aka 4/14 Window Global Initiative) is a bold process of collaboration and mobilization that seeks to respond in obedience to God's call for this new missional focus." http://4to14window.com/414-window-global-summit

The position of "TW New Generation" is that children should be tagged as an unreached people group and that the church needs to be a part of a global move to bring children to Christ! We see it here in the US and worldwide. They state that there are 1.2 billion children and youth in the 4/14 window and have made a "plea to open your heart and mind to the idea of reaching and raising up a new generation from within that vast group—a generation that can experience personal transformation and can be mobilized as agents for transformation throughout the world."

I could express so much here. Reaching the children of the US and the children of the world is a passion for any who have answered the call to Children's Ministry! God is raising up great people to move forward for kids! We at KICKS have been challenged by the Lord on this. We've been reaching kids worldwide through the media and have more than 40,000 members as part of the club from the US. Only a few of those numbers are worldwide. So, we're setting into motion an international outreach and are working on reaching kids throughout the US in a greater magnitude. Taking the challenge to set our sites beyond our limits. After all, He is the God of "no more limits"!

One way, we want to offer free resources to help reach kids and bring ministry opportunities through these resources for others worldwide to minister to kids in their neighborhoods. This summer, the Lord has put it in our hearts to move out beyond where He has had us and begin moving forward to reach pastors and childrens workers worldwide to network and work together. All this while helping equip others to reach kids. It is our hope that children's ministries throughout the US will do the same, not only in their home churches but somehow reach children all over the world. There is going to be a revival for kids rushing in a great harvest and God is pouring out a move for this generation that has never been seen. It's exciting being a part of that!

We think as people network together, the church can get the job done. CMConnect looks like a great place to connect with people and to connect people worldwide! We believe as we have stepped out to be a part of CMConnect we will be able to draw others worldwide to connect with all of you too. We're looking forward to being a part and it is our hope that others will be directly touched by our connections, those being, "the children of the world" ! God's richest your way~

Check out the 4/14 Global Summit website. The summit is in New York this September 6th-8th! Here's the link for all the info: http://4to14window.com/414-window-global-summit
